Welcome to My Recipe Saver. By downloading, accessing, or using the My Recipe Saver application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Description of Service

My Recipe Saver is a recipe management and meal planning application that allows users to save, organize, and plan meals using their personal recipe collection. The App is available as a free version with limited features and as a premium subscription ("Recipe Saver Pro") with enhanced capabilities.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and to update your information as necessary.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Recipe Saver Pro is available through auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase option. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Prices are subject to change. You will be notified of any price changes in advance and given the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all recipes, images, notes, and other content you create or upload to the App ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your User Content and will not share it with third parties without your consent.

6. AI-Powered Features

The App may use artificial intelligence to assist with recipe import and other features. AI-generated content is provided as-is and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before use. Always exercise your own judgment regarding food safety, allergens, and dietary requirements.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Use the App to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Witzy Goods and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Recipe content, nutritional information, and AI-generated suggestions are for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional dietary or medical advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Witzy Goods shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of recipes, or reliance on AI-generated content.

11. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://witzygoods.com/pages/myrecipesaver-privacy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Any active subscriptions should be canceled through the App Store.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
